System Analyst (Java/ Linux, over $55K)
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per month
Responsibilities:
Conduct requirements studies, system design, development, testing, and user acceptance for platform enhancements and integrations.
Engage with departments and external organisations to facilitate API development for data interchange and system connectivity.
Deliver production support, encompassing troubleshooting, system stability monitoring, rollout, and ongoing maintenance.
Review vendors' deliverables and support in coordinating and monitoring project activities.
Provide technical guidance and direction to the team in enhancing and maintaining the system.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Higher diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in the IT industry.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Java, web services, and Linux administration.
Solid experience in system analysis and design.
Hands-on experience in container-based technology, such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
Experience with Hyperledger Fabric for blockchain-based applications and API Management applications is an advantage.
