System Analyst (Java, Public Sector)
Summary
System analyst for a Hong Kong statutory body managing public hospitals, designing and implementing eHealth technical services and operating its workflow engine on a cloud-native stack (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Istio, Kafka, Java, Node.js/NestJS, React), including 24x7 support of core services.
Salary: $70,000 – $78,000 per month
Our client is a statutory body managing all the government hospitals and institutes in Hong Kong. They are looking for individual talents to join their innovative development team.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, development and implementation of eHealth technical services.
Responsible for implementing and operating the eHealth Workflow Engine, while facilitating cross-team collaboration and coordination for workflow development.
Coordinate and automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Operate and provide 24×7 support for eHealth core services to ensure high availability and reliability.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
At least 6 years of working experience with 4 years in system analysis, design, and development of cloud native applications.
Experience in developing system modules to support clinical workflows or related IT experience in healthcare industry is preferable.
Hands-on experience with modern technologies and platforms, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, Istio, event-driven and microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, NestJS/Node.js, React.js, Kafka, J2EE/Java, NoSQL and relational databases
Strong experience in developing clinical products and system modules.
Strong experience in working with Agile methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
