System Analyst - Kuwaiti National
Summary
System Analyst at Kuwait Steel monitors and maintains IT systems, provides user support, and documents processes in Al Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait.
Job Responsibilities:
System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Identify and resolve system issues promptly.
- Ensuring OS system security software is kept up to date.
- Ensuring OS system patches are applied and up to date.
User support
- Provide support to end-users for system related issues.
- Interact with users to determine new requirements.
- Designing and implement new requirements.
- Assist in training users on the operation of the systems.
Documentation and Reporting
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future use.
- Develop user manuals, how to guides and training materials for the systems.
- Update documentation regularly to reflect system changes and updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering
Preferred Experience:
- 0 to 2 Years.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Basic knowledge of networks.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
- Familiarity with general OS systems and Office software.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Understanding of relational databases. (e.g. MS SQL, Oracle, MySQl)
- Basic experience with an object-orientated programming language (e.g. C#, Python)
