System Analyst - Maximo Consultant (10 months) | EXY

Salary: $7,000 – $8,000 per month

Duration of Contract: 10 months | January 2027 – October 2027 (Extendable)

Location: Bishan Depot / Woodlands Depot (Onsite)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:45 PM

Job Responsibilities

Functional Analysis & Solution Design

• Engage business users to understand operational processes, requirements, pain points and improvement opportunities.

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements, including fit-gap analysis against standard Maximo functionalities.

• Recommend suitable Maximo solutions and improvements to asset lifecycle, maintenance, work order, inventory and procurement processes.

• Configure Maximo functional components, including workflows, domains, classifications, security groups, Start Centers, notifications and application settings.

• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test scenarios, user guides and other relevant documentation.

• Support data migration and validation activities for asset, location, inventory and other master or transactional data.

Technical Configuration & Development

• Design, develop, configure and customize IBM Maximo applications to meet business requirements.

• Develop and maintain Maximo customizations using Java, Maximo Business Objects (MBOs), Automation Scripts and escalations.

• Customize Maximo user interfaces, workflows, applications and functional modules.

• Develop and maintain BIRT reports, KPIs and reporting solutions.

• Design, develop and support integrations with external systems using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), web services and APIs, including SAP and other enterprise systems.

• Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution and deployment activities.

Application Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide production support for Maximo applications, including incident management, service requests and user queries.

• Troubleshoot application, database and interface-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and SLA compliance.

• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Work closely with business users, vendors, developers and IT teams to resolve system issues and support enhancements.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system configurations, workflows and application performance.

• Conduct user briefings, training and knowledge-transfer sessions where required.

• Maintain functional and technical documentation and support post-implementation activities.

• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on IBM Maximo experience in a techno-functional, technical or functional consulting role.

• Strong knowledge of Maximo modules, including Asset Management, Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory Management and Procurement.

• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, customization, testing and implementation.

• Hands-on experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), web services, APIs and enterprise system integrations.

• Proficiency in Maximo Automation Scripts (Python/Jython), Java, MBOs, BIRT Reports and SQL.

• Good understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management.

• Experience in production application support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and incident resolution.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, IT teams and vendors.
