System Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to bridge business and technology by analysing requirements, designing system solutions, and supporting end-to-end project delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to deliver scalable, reliable applications while ensuring solutions meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Design and support scalable system solutions and enhancements.
- Work closely with developers, business users, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate system integration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.
- Support project delivery from requirements gathering through implementation and post-production support.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar IT delivery role.
- Experience managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on technical experience with: Java JavaScript Angular SQL Object-oriented programming and web application development
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with system integrations and enterprise applications.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience within government or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Candidates with strong technical experience may also be considered regardless of academic background.
Contract: 12 months (highly extendable)
