System Analyst (Web Applications)

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per month

About the role

This role involves contributing to web application development, enhancement and maintenance projects. You will work under the supervision of the Finanical Client's Information Technology Division and collaborate with relevant project managers and users.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of web interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Assist with UI/UX design and the implementation of responsive and accessible web designs

• Support web server, database and application-related activities involving technologies such as IIS, Apache, Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL

• Participate in different stages of the system development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance

• Support content management, workflow automation or collaboration platform development where required

• Prepare and maintain appropriate system and technical documentation

• Perform other web development and maintenance duties as reasonably assigned by the client

• Observe the client's applicable code of conduct, IT security policies, confidentiality requirements and workplace procedures

About you:

• A recognized degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification

• At least 4 years of solid experience in IT application or web development

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position and comparable capacity

• Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Familiarity with UI/UX design

• Familiarity with web servers and databases, such as Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache, Microsoft SQL Server 2017/2019, Transact-SQL

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Illustrator

• Good understanding of system development life cycle methodology

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
