System and Safety Engineer
RESPONSABILITIES
- Implement the necessary actions to ensure that the final product meets customer requirements in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, and automotive regulatory requirements related to Product Functional Safety and Cybersecurity
- Implement the necessary actions to support teams during development, production, and post-production phases to ensure compliance with Functional Safety requirements
- Implement the necessary actions on systems under development to support vehicle homologation
- Support Software, Hardware, Mechanical development, and Testing to ensure the final product meets system requirements, including Functional Safety and Cybersecurity
- Follow supplier qualification and monitoring processes regarding System Design, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
- Contribute to innovation in functionality, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and development processes, including patent ideas
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses required for system, software, and hardware verification according to applicable standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Automation or Electronic Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Knowledge of Simulink
- Basic understanding of reliability concepts
- Knowledge of issue tracking and requirements management is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Good knowledge of system engineering and requirements management (DOORS, SysML, UML, Simulink is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Functional Safety standards and application
- Knowledge of Product Cybersecurity standards and application
- Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE
- Ability to define and model system, subsystem, HW and SW architectures
- Knowledge of analysis methods (DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis), tools like APIS, MEDINI are a plus
- Basic knowledge of control algorithms, low-level software, hardware, and mechanics
- Knowledge of main homologation standards
