Summary

Designs and oversees enterprise-scale IT systems in Singapore, translating business needs into secure, scalable architectures while ensuring compliance and guiding technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define overall system architecture, including hardware, software, network, and integration components

• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient system designs

• Develop architecture diagrams, design specifications, and technical standards

• Lead system design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles

• Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and products (e.g. OS, virtualization, databases, middleware)

• Ensure system designs comply with cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory requirements

• Provide technical guidance to project teams, vendors, and stakeholders

• Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and handover activities

• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies

• Support lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and performance optimization

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.

• 12+ years’ experience in system or enterprise architecture.

• Proven experience designing distributed, cloud‑based, or hybrid systems.

• Knowledge of architecture standards (e.g. ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, MID-STD-498, ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010) and system modeling techniques (e.g. UML, 4+1 Views, Domain-Driven Design)

• Strong understanding of microservices, architectural/design patterns, API design, integration patterns, and DevOps tools.

• Experience with databases (E.g. MSSQL) and data architecture.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and secure‑by‑design principles.

• Knowledge in IT and data storage infrastructure will be a plus.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) will be a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to influence technical direction and guide teams.
