System Data Analyst (Integration Experience)

Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented System Data Analyst with expertise in integration to design and manage manufacturing data products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience working with operational systems such as MES and ERP. This role requires effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
Design manufacturing data products and data flows from systems such as MES, PI Historian, SCADA, LIMS, and ERP into enterprise data platforms.
Lead discovery workshops with business and manufacturing stakeholders to define use cases, requirements, and data product specifications.
Design data models, transformations, ISA-95 contextualization, and source-to-target mappings.
Define schemas, data quality rules, technical standards, and architecture documentation.
Collaborate with site OT/IT teams to establish connectivity, validate source data, and ensure reliable data acquisition.
Support implementation teams and drive standardization across manufacturing sites.
Key Requirements:
Experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or integration projects.
Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with data.
Experience designing data flows, mappings, and solution documentation.
Understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality concepts.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
Ability to work with complex and sometimes ambiguous business problems.
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and business domains.
Nice to Have:
Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other industrial environments.
Familiarity with MES, SCADA, PI Historian, LIMS, ERP, or similar operational systems.
Understanding of ISA-95, OPC UA, Unified Namespace (UNS), or industrial data architectures.
Experience using Python, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
Experience working in regulated environments.
