System & Database Support Engineer / Oracle Database Specialist (over $60K)

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct system design, analysis, and implementation for various IT systems.

• Perform database setup, configuration, and implementation.

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and troubleshoot system issues.

• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for mission-critical systems.

• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and reliability.

• Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with project teams to support system deployment and enhancement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c or above.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or above.

• Solid experience in database administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

• VMware ESXi 6.5 or above

• JBoss EAP 8.0 or above

• Supporting Internet applications deployed on GCIS

• Linux Shell Scripting

• Government projects or large-scale enterprise system support environments
