System Developer Associate Manager
Overall Purpose:
To manage a team of developers and Software support team to Develop and deploy the MIS application
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, and as required test enhancements to complex modules
- Work with Application Architects/Business Process Architects/Specialists and other System Specialists to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
- Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components
- Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards
- Provide primary support toward installation of application releases into production as directed
- Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews/walkthroughs
- Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in our methodologies
- Create operational documentation for the Application
- Coordinate work with other Systems Specialists on and across Applications
- Provide application/technical support as required, in a timely manner
- Review and understand the Application workplan
- Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status
- Provide input to assist in determining level of effort
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years work experience with focus on software development for minimum of 5 years.
- Looking for end-to-end developers -- experience in back-end development for servers and databases and front-end development for web applications and tools
- Programming and scripting languages: Visual Basic/Visual Basic 6, SQL Programming/SQL Database, Javascript, HTML 5, XML
- Project and people management experience required - will handle approx. 4 FTEs.
- Good excellent communication and presentation skills, preferably with knowledge on running operations since will handle estimates of the project
