System Developer

We are seeking an Application Developer to develop, enhance, test, deploy, and support business applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in either Oracle APEX/PLSQL or Java development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop programs and application enhancements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and errors.

• Participate in UI, process, database table, and program design.

• Develop or support REST APIs and system integrations.

• Conduct unit and integration testing.

• Support system testing, QA, UAT, and data validation.

• Deploy programs following established deployment standards.

• Prepare technical specifications and documentation.

• Respond to technical inquiries and service desk escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

• 1–3 years of application development experience.

• Hands-on experience in Oracle APEX/PLSQL or Java.

• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, SDLC, testing, and debugging.

• Experience in application enhancements, deployment, and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in both Oracle APEX/PLSQL and Java.

• Knowledge of Oracle Database, REST APIs, and UI development.

• Experience in production or application support.

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum.

• Exposure to insurance or financial-services applications.
