SYSTEM ENGINEER - ADGP (Ref: SE-ADGP/SL)
Summary
System Engineer joining the Windows Server team of a well-known finance institute in Hong Kong, looking after Active Directory, Group Policy, and Outlook email. Day-to-day involves server health checks, system monitoring and tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting incidents with escalation to vendors.
Our client is a well-known and reputable finance institute with well-established IT infrastructure team in Hong Kong, and they are currently seeking a System Engineer to join their Windows Server team, primary responsible for looking after Active Directory (AD) and Email Outlook in client site. Ideal applicants should have solid system administration and support experience in Active Directory and Group Policy, further experience in AD domain setup and configuration would be a plus. Besides practical in-house email outlook troubleshooting experience is required for this position too.
Responsibilities:
Check system and server healthiness and performance on daily basis
Perform system monitoring and tuning, system administration and support
Perform system upgrade and/or enhancements
Troubleshoot system incidents and is responsible for problem diagnostics and escalation to vendors
Requirements:
Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines
Minimum four (4) years of solid experience in system administration and support in Active Directory, Group Policy and Email Outlook
Practical experience in day-to-day system support and troubleshooting; email with security consideration in the client-sided Outlook
Other experience with Microsoft servers such as Exchange, and /or SQL would be a plus
