Summary
Onsite systems engineer in Columbia, MD supporting government/DoD programs: analyzing requirements and concepts of operations, developing DoDAF/SOA system architectures, and leading design, integration, verification, and technical documentation. Requires 14+ years of systems engineering experience (or 19 without a degree) plus an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
System Engineer – DoDAF/SOA- 14+ yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly Required
Halogen Engineering is seeking a System Engineer who can analyze user's requirements concept of operations documents and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. This candidate will analyzes system requirements and lead design and development activities. Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirement, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develop technical documentation. Develop system Architecture and system design documentation. Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other programs, government overseers, and senior executives.

Salary Range
The projected compensation range for this position is 181K-191K (annualized USD).
Salary is determined by various factors, including
but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of
education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related
discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of
experience as a SE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
complexity
- Nineteen (19) years of experience as a SE,
in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
