System Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer to support the implementation and integration of warehouse automation software, particularly WCS/WIS. The role focuses on mastering software functionalities, understanding customer requirements, preparing software blueprints, and supporting system implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of WCS/WIS software functionalities, configurations, and system workflows.

• Gather and analyse customer operational and system requirements.

• Translate customer requirements into software blueprints, functional specifications, and process flowcharts.

• Identify gaps between customer requirements and existing software capabilities.

• Coordinate with software developers on system integration, customisation, and enhancements.

• Support software configuration, system testing (FAT/SAT/UAT), and commissioning.

• Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to customers.

• Prepare system documentation and conduct user training.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in software implementation, application support, or system analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of databases, networking, and system integration.

• Experience in WMS, WCS, ERP, or warehouse automation is an advantage.

• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

• Fluent in written and spoken English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
