System Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable System Engineer to join our IT team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys managing complex IT Infrastructure, handling escalations, and working across both on-premise and cloud environments.

If you are confident in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, AWS / Azure, and Firewall / Network environments, we would like to speak with you.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and managing all installed systems, servers and applications in both on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Required to perform the role of maintain / review / enhance the network security policies

  • Provide required IT during and after office hours to ensure business operation and continuity.

  • Review and provide risk assessment for firewall, Proxy and Mac whitelisting request


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in IT related field; ITE Certification with relevant certification and experience can be considered

  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in supporting all systems: Windows Servers, Firewall, Network Switches, Backup, Database, etc.

  • Hands on experience in Cloud computing, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, NAVISION is an added advantage

  • Working knowledge in Windows Servers administration on AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange, Office365, Hyper-V, etc. and WAN/LAN/WLAN solution.

  • Certified MCSE and/or CCNA with Hyper-V/VM deployment experience would be a plus

  • Attention to detail and well-versed in documentation

  • Good communication and inter-personal skills, independent and able to multi-tasks

  • Experience supporting multi-branch retail environments, POS systems, or warehouse operations will be an advantage.
