System Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Manage daily operations of IT systems ensuring availability, stability, and efficiency across on-premise and cloud environments

• Manage and optimize VMware vSphere/HCI environment including VM lifecycle, resource allocation, and performance

• Implement hybrid cloud connectivity and ensure secure communication between environments

• Optimize workload placement across hybrid infrastructure

• Monitor and manage storage systems and data replication between environments

• Manage CI/CD pipelines across hybrid environment

• Implement containerized applications on both AWS and on-premise Kubernetes

• Configure and optimize AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements

• Implement comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular performance reports to management

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

•Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

•Experience: Minimum 5 years in Systems Engineering or System Administration Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Kubernetes and containerized applications management

• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and virtualization technology

• Scripting and automation skills (Ansible, Python, Bash)

• System security and vulnerability assessment knowledge
