System Engineer (M/F)
Summary
A systems engineer at lighting manufacturer Glamox: translates customer requirements into technical specs, designs lighting-control solutions, owns electrical schematics, block diagrams, BOMs and ERP routings, and supports production and factory acceptance tests. Key tech: EPLAN, DALI/KNX protocols, IoT integration, WAGO PLC.

What you'll do
Work with international sales teams to analyse customer requirements and turn them into technical specifications
Analyse after-sales quotations and help select products and system solutions that meet all requirements
Join sales meetings as a technical or system expert when needed
Prepare feasibility studies and make sure solutions comply with the standards the customer requires
Give the sales team technical expertise and advice
Work with cross-functional teams (project and product managers, R&D and production) so that projects run smoothly
Create and fully own the detailed design documentation: electrical schematics, block diagrams and mechanical drawings. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in the ERP system
Support production during system assembly and ensure quality at every assembly stage
Take an active part in customer acceptance tests (FAT) at our production sites
Who you are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or a related field
Proven experience in system design and implementation, preferably in lighting automation or a related industry
Knowledge of electrical CAD software such as EPLAN or similar
Experience with lighting control systems, IoT integration and communication protocols (e.g. DALI, KNX or similar)
Knowledge of international standards for lighting systems (e.g. MIL-STD, DEF-STAN, BV, STANAG, IEC/EN, DNV, IMO, COLREG 72)
Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team
Ability to handle several tasks at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer focus and a drive to deliver tailor-made solutions
Proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements
Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) - nice to have
Experience with WAGO PLC programming or similar - nice to have
