System Engineer (Ref: CC/MSI/SE)

Responsibilities:

• The System Engineer shall:

  • Provide onsite support services for system (critical) operations including but not limited to

    • Investigate, replicate and resolve software and system-related issues

    • Implement system changes, conduct system verification and testing

    • Perform server administration, monitoring, exception analysis and response

    • Perform network and server system configuration management

    • Maintain operation manuals, procedures and network diagrams

    • Generate users reports and system statistics

• Escalate critical and unresolved technical issues to Senior Engineer and Project Manager from time to time

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in IT discipline or equivalent

• Possess valid certifications on Microsoft products or Lotus Notes is a plus

• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese

• At least 4 years of IT working experience

• Able to work on a 5-day shift roster (shifts including daytime, night-time and overnight) from Monday to Sunday, and Public Holidays

• Self-motivated, fast learning, result-oriented and willing to work under pressure
