System Engineer (Windows Platform)

Salary: ฿40,000 – ฿60,000 per month

Job Summary

KTCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Engineer (Windows Platform) to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Windows-based systems, ensuring platform availability, security compliance, operational stability, and supporting business-critical applications in a 24x7 enterprise environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and automation to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Administration

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server platforms and related infrastructure services.

• Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Certificate Services.

• Maintain system performance, availability, and reliability to meet service-level objectives.

• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management activities.

Platform Operations & Support

• Monitor production systems and proactively identify potential issues.

• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

• Support 24x7 business-critical platforms and participate in on-call support when required.

• Ensure timely resolution of operational incidents and service requests.

Virtualization & Cloud

• Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.

• Support cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments.

• Participate in infrastructure migration, system refresh, and modernization projects.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security hardening and compliance controls across Windows platforms.

• Perform vulnerability remediation and security patch management.

• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain baseline configurations and operational standards.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Manage backup and recovery processes.

• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

• Ensure business continuity requirements are met.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting tools.

• Continuously enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and automation.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles.

Project Implementation

• Participate in infrastructure implementation projects and technology upgrades.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network, Security, Database, Application, and Cloud teams.

• Provide technical recommendations and support solution design activities.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Windows System Administration or Infrastructure Support.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments is preferred.

• Experience in financial services, banking, or mission-critical environments will be an advantage.
