System Manager

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information. **If selected, position title will reflect FINANCIAL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST (PROJMGT)**

Oversees the daily operations and full lifecycle management of the Electronic Document Management (EDM) system to ensure continuous operational readiness and system integrity.

Manages budget execution and resource allocation specifically dedicated to the maintenance, licensing, and optimization of the system.

Directs daily technical troubleshooting and system monitoring to proactively identify, isolate, and resolve platform performance issues.

Coordinates directly with customers and external stakeholders to capture requirements, resolve user issues, and optimize the overall user experience.

Briefs senior leadership regularly on the status of pending System Change Requests (SCRs), system health metrics, and overall program support initiatives.

Executes high-priority, quick-turnaround requests from leadership and operational units under tight deadlines without compromising system standards.

Applies the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and collaborates closely with the security team to maintain strict system compliance and audit readiness.
