System Operations Administrator - Taipei/Hsinchu

【About the Role】
As a System Operations Administrator, you will help keep our servers, networks, and supporting infrastructure reliable across our internal environments and production sites.
You will work directly with physical servers, network and storage systems, cabling, power, and cooling. You will also handle monitoring tools and user-support requests while helping deploy, operate, and refine infrastructure together with infrastructure and engineering teams.

【Responsibilities】

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and storage systems in internal and production-site environments.
• Monitor system health and operating conditions, and perform routine maintenance, updates, hardware replacement, and system checks.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues involving hardware, operating systems, networking, storage, and user access, escalating deeper issues when necessary.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to deploy new systems, maintain hardware inventories and configuration records, and keep operating procedures practical, repeatable, and clear.

【Key Qualifications】

• Practical experience administering Linux, Windows, or mixed operating-system environments.
• Familiarity with server hardware, networking, storage, authentication, and other core infrastructure concepts.
• Experience monitoring and diagnosing server health and hardware issues using remote-management and monitoring tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues methodically and determine when escalation is required.
• Strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and clear documentation and communication skills.

【Preferred, but Not Required】

• Experience operating GPU servers, HPC clusters, or other high-density compute systems.
• Familiarity with shared or object storage, identity-management systems, virtualization platforms, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with centralized monitoring and alerting platforms for server, storage, and network operations.
• Experience with server-room cooling, power planning, rack layout, and environmental monitoring.
• Experience coordinating hardware vendors, repairs, or on-site maintenance.

You do not need to match every preferred qualification. We value practical troubleshooting skills, dependable operational practices, and the ability to keep systems running reliably in day-to-day use. We are hiring for both mid-level and senior-level positions, and the scope and expectations of the role will be considered based on your experience and seniority during the interview process.
