System Risk Manager

You will lead the construction and continuous improvement of system risk management and information security frameworks for a Type I financial instruments business. You will assess and manage system risks, handle incidents from detection through recurrence prevention, respond to regulators and internal audits, plan and implement security measures, maintain policies, select and direct vendors, and define and support security requirements with development teams. You will combine hands-on engineering with financial regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve system risk assessment and management frameworks
• Manage and respond to incidents from detection through implementation of recurrence prevention measures
• Respond to regulators and internal audits
• Build and promote information security management frameworks
• Plan and promote the implementation of security measures
• Maintain and update related policies and regulations
• Select, manage, and direct vendors
• Define and support the implementation of security requirements with development teams

Requirements

• Practical experience in information security or system risk management
• Experience responding to audit firms or internal audit departments
• Experience managing internal IT using groupware such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Experience operating identity management, SSO for internal information systems, endpoint management, or MDM
• Experience designing and operating cloud environments such as AWS, including security settings
• Ability to create Japanese-language documents and policies
