System Solution Engineer - Optical Interconnect CMOS ICs for Datacom (d/m/f)
Summary
ams OSRAM is hiring a System Solution Engineer in Eindhoven to develop optical interconnect CMOS IC solutions for datacenter datacom links, working at the system level across optics, electronics and packaging. Day to day involves mixed-signal CMOS, photodiodes, TIAs, drivers and SerDes, plus global customer engagement (~50% travel).
Who we are looking for
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Photonics or Physics
- Proven experience with mixed-signal CMOS, photodiodes, analog front-ends, drivers, TIAs or SerDes
- Extensive industry experience in datacom, networking or optical interconnects
- Solid understanding of datacenter (optical) links, transceivers and architectures
- Strong system-level thinking across optics, electronics, packaging and integration
- Experience working directly with customers on complex technical challenges and willingness to travel globally (approximately 50%) to engage with customers on-site
- Ability to translate market needs into differentiated semiconductor solutions
- Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus
