Context

In the development of new IoT offerings, Orange aims to build and operate a dedicated Mobile Core platform for IoT applications. This platform primarily consists of a 4G/5G mobile core network, an IMS solution, and an SMSC platform, all built upon a cloud-native Kubernetes infrastructure. The platform will support 4G/5G data, voice, and SMS services.

Within this framework, a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) train has been established to develop and operate this IoT platform. We are seeking a System Team Leader to serve as a critical bridge between architecture, platform infrastructure, and system validation.

  • Actively participate in SAFe ceremonies and governance, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Define the strategy and roadmap for qualification and pre-production environment setup, modifications, and IoT service testing based on the IoT services marketing description and roadmap.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the system team and oversee overall validation activities within the train.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environment Management:

    • Ensure environments are stable, reliable, and representative of production conditions, as needed for testing.
    • Guarantee environment availability for component teams and validation activities.
  • Testing Strategy & Validation:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive system testing strategy, including:
      • Determining which tests to perform on which platforms.
      • Establishing staged testing processes and validation procedures for new releases.
      • Defining strategies for security, scalability, performance, and resilience testing.
    • Coordinate test campaigns at the ART (Agile Release Train) level by:
      • Planning and monitoring tests for each component team.
      • Leading the E2E test campaigns under the system team’s responsibility.
      • Tracking and reporting anomalies and key quality KPIs.
  • Industrialization & Automation:

    • Progressively automate system validation processes, including:
