Kelley Create seeks a talented and creative Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for providing escalated/tier II support, change control, and Pre-Sales Engineering (PSE) solutions for client end users, which may include onsite diagnosis and repair, performing planned system maintenance on client networks, and troubleshooting elevated support requests and systems analysis, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Hardware may include workstations, printers, servers, firewalls, switches, and phones. Support requests will entail tier II issues related to active directory management, line of business applications, routing/switching, server, network hardware, or their associated servers, and within respective applications.


Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Serve as an escalated technical resource, taking ownership of complex, priority, and business-impacting incidents through resolution across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, infrastructure, endpoints, identity services, and line-of-business applications while maintaining exceptional customer communication and follow-through.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID, ensuring tenant security, compliance, identity governance, and operational excellence.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, and resource governance, while maintaining secure and cost-effective cloud operations.
  • Apply foundational cybersecurity principles, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity and access management, security baselines, least-privilege access, endpoint security, and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA.
  • Support and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), and related infrastructure services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues involving routing, switching, wireless networking, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Support project delivery efforts, including migrations, upgrades, cloud modernization initiatives, system implementations, and technology lifecycle projects.
  • Provide technical consulting and Pre-Sales Engineering (PSE) recommendations through systems analysis, business requirements discovery, and solution design aligned with organizational standards and client objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, AI-enabled workflows, tool development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training, certifications, and ongoing education.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience / Education / Certification Preferences

  • Typically possesses 5 to 15 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, consulting, managed services, or related technical roles.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, networking, security, endpoint management, and hybrid infrastructure environments is preferred.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, AI-enabled workflows, or process improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Current Microsoft Associate, Expert, or Architect-level certifications and/or industry-recognized networking certifications (CCNA or equivalent) are preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
