SAIC is hiring for a Systems Administrator Associate in Anaheim CA.
- Performs high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for Veeam Backup and Replication, Enquesta billing transmittals, and Advantage HR/Payroll and Financial activities, and Asset Lifecycle.
- Schedules server and workstation backups and maintains the backups in accordance with established IT policies and procedures and retention scheduled.
- Continually monitors production schedules for Server backups, billing document submittals, ERP system, and payroll/HR reporting bi-weekly reporting to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures workstation/server backup integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities.
- Ensures data/media recoverability by developing and implementing, monitoring and testing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Develops, implements and promotes standard operating procedures and schedules. Consolidates input from various departments to build Program's schedule 2A deliverables.
- Conducts hardware and software audits of Datacenter assets in monitoring tools and asset databases to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
- Reviews and implements new standards, policies and procedures to align with changing environment.
- Works closely with Network and Systems Analysts to help manage IMAC functions when the systems are implemented. Other duties and responsibilities as required under the Program's managed services contract.
- Requires data collection and analysis skills to provide data interpretation
- Requires advanced EXCEL skills to build macros and tables and to utilize multiple source documents
- Requires experience working independently as the majority of the activities are due at an established frequency
- Require experience as a document writer

- BA/BS and 1+ years of related experience.
