Systems Administrator

Community Health Northwest Florida is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team.

The Systems Administrator plays an important role in keeping CHNWF's technology systems secure, reliable, and available across our clinical and administrative locations. This position provides hands-on support for servers, networks, Microsoft systems, computers and devices, cloud services, security, and clinical technology.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and support servers, networks, computers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user accounts, system access, and related services.
• Troubleshoot system, network, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Support CHNWF's electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical and business applications.
• Maintain system backups, monitoring, security updates, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support employee computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology.
• Assist with cybersecurity, system access, and HIPAA security requirements.
• Provide technical support to employees at CHNWF locations and remotely.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and implementation of new technology.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners when needed.
• Travel between CHNWF locations as needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call support and occasional evening or weekend maintenance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• At least 2 years of progressive systems administration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of networking, information security, and system troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Reliable transportation for travel between CHNWF locations.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call and occasional after-hours support.

Preferred Experience

Healthcare IT or EHR experience is preferred. Technical certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, VMware, or comparable certifications are also a plus.
