Systems Administrator/Reporting Specialist

SALARY: $65,000 – $80,000 commensurate with experience

Ewing Public Schools announces an employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator/Reporting Specialist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Instructional Technology, and Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience in a similar position.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience with database applications, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrates capacity to manage projects, understand and manipulate data, ensure data quality, document data requirements, user procedures and train users.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft SQL and Oracle.
  • Possess working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare or equivalent.
  • Possess strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Ability to use remote software to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Exhibits a personality that demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills that relate well with staff and administration.
  • Must meet all legal, health requirements and physical demands, including criminal history background check, as set forth by State law and/or the Board of Education.
