About the role

This is a junior position suited to an early-career analyst. You will work under the direct supervision of the CEO, undertaking routine systems analysis, requirements gathering, testing and documentation. Much of the work takes place in a generative AI delivery environment, with day-to-day use of industry-standard orchestration and agentic tooling. It is a hands-on role across client projects and our internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and internal teams to gather, analyse and document business and system requirements
  • Investigate business processes, procedures and work practices, identify inefficiencies, and develop standard operating procedures and automations that improve routine work
  • Prepare functional specifications for developers, using process and data modelling to produce clear system specifications
  • Develop and execute system test plans, performing quality assurance and user acceptance testing of project deliverables
  • Support project planning, estimation, reporting and delivery activities under agile methodologies
  • Create user documentation and assist with training and system adoption
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 information security management systems for Cadent and its clients
  • Undertake AI orchestration using industry-standard tools
  • Other tasks as required from time to time

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
  • 1 to 2 years of commercial experience
  • Practical experience in requirements gathering, software testing, technical documentation in an agentic AI systems context
  • Experience working in constrained information security environments
  • Clear written and verbal communication and a collaborative approach
  • Desirable: exposure to ISO 27001 or similar governance frameworks, hands-on familiarity with agentic AI tools and workflows, agile delivery experience, or a relevant certification
