Systems Analyst I

Job Summary:

As a Systems Analyst, you will be providing direct IT support to STL’s clients via phone and email with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st-level support on a variety of support issues.
• Provide onsite assistance to end users as needed.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documents for client and internal systems.
• Assist other departments with additional tasks as needed.
• Participate in a rotation based on call schedule.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Background in IT, computer systems engineering, or related field.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments.
• Experience with monitoring systems.
• Basic networking knowledge.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort working with all levels of an organization.
• Experience with virtualization is very helpful.
• Experience with automation software a plus.
