Systems Analyst
Summary
Analyzes and designs IT systems for clients, gathering requirements, documenting solutions, and integrating APIs and cloud services.
Location: Bellville, Cape Town (On average 4 times per week, or as the project demands
Requirements:
- The resource must be based (live) in Cape Town or have family in Cape Town for relocation purposes.
- The resource will report to the ICS Project Management Office for the duration of the project.
Systems Analyst Job Specification
Collaborating directly with system users as a means to analyse, gather and understand their systems and process needs. Design and maintain computer-based solutions in line with user expectations.
- Computer Science Degree at NQF Level 7, including Industry recognised certifications or Accreditations in a similar field, with 5 years relevant experience.
- Understanding of software development, design and methodologies
- Highly experienced in systems analysis, project management, system documentation
- Experience with SOAP/REST API, Web Services and Cloud technologies skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborating directly with system users as means to analyse, gather and understand their systems and process needs.
- Design computer-based solutions in line with user expectations. These include:
- Perform system evaluations
- Systems and Systems Integration Requirements gathering
- Systems Solution Design
- Cost & Benefit Analysis of the solutions
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Develop and participate in system testing and troubleshooting
Skills Required

- Technical knowledge (programming languages, database management systems, information technology hardware, networking)
