Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes system requirements and develops problem-solving methods by producing complex flow charts/data flow diagrams and/or associated documents.

  • Advises on computer requirements and limitations to help define automation needs.

  • Develops detailed, coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, pseudocode, and associated documents from high-level flowcharts.

  • Collaborates with senior team members to finalize system design and documents, and maintains software component specifications in detailed technical design.

  • Provides technical consultation to solve design and reliability problems and maintain system capability.

  • Writes procedural guidance to be followed by users.

  • Maintains files, records, and operational data, and prepares periodic and special reports and other various documents pertaining to assignments.

  • Participates in the testing of computer programs, revising and refining all necessary documentation as testing is completed.

  • Monitors system errors, diagnoses and corrects errors.

  • Participates in reviewing existing programs to refine them and increase efficiency.

  • Develops pseudocode, tables, and narrative descriptions to implement changes.

  • Triages production tickets and troubleshoots issues as needed; communicates with the customer as appropriate.

  • Develops code and tests assigned software and software modifications in a quality manner consistent with company standards and procedures.

  • Handle code releases to deploy to the code into System Test, UAT and Production environments.

  • Participate in Tier-1 meetings with customers, actively contributing to problem resolution.

  • Troubleshoot issues and follow operational processes and procedures according to the established SLA

  • Create reports for stakeholders to continuously monitor Production environment information, ensuring smoother application performance.

  • This position is fully remote.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in systems analysis or a related field.
  • Additionally, the employer requires the following:
    • 1) Experience in Building Software Components using Java (3 years);
    • 2) Operations of transactional processing systems (2 years);
    • 3) Writing SQL queries (2 years);
    • 4) Building PL/SQL scripts (2 years);
    • 5) Eclipse IDE (2 years);
    • 6) SVN for source code maintenance (2 years);
    • 7) Debugging PL/SQL Functions, Procedures & Packages (2 years);
    • 8) HTML (2 years); and
    • 9) AWS (2 years).

Pay Range

USD $105,680.00 - USD $126,090.00 /Yr.
