Systems and Digital Transformation Manager (M/F)

About the role

Depending on the People and Systems department, the person joining will have the main mission of managing and administering (operating) the systems (Infrastructures, networks, cybersecurity, applications, incident resolution…) and driving digital transformation, also executing data, AI, and technological improvement projects.

What you'll do

• IT organization and management: Design, execution, and monitoring of the systems plan and its budget.
• Definition and implementation of security and IT policies.
• Management of architecture, configurations, applications, integrations, and procedures and their corresponding documentation.
• Management of technological providers and preparation of tender specifications for their contracting.
• Monitoring of systems (Zabbix) and agile response, and subsequent analysis of incidents.
• Search for synergies in tools and processes (integrations between tools…).
• Technological continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Management and administration of Infrastructure and systems architecture: Physical and virtual servers, Applications, Software, Workstations… Inventory and lifecycle management.
• Management and administration of Networks and communications: Management and monitoring of Wifi, voice, VPN, DNS services. Provider management.
• Cybersecurity: Definition and implementation of security policies: backups, access protocols, Design and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity plan, incident monitoring. Provider management.
• Resolution of user incidents with the support of external support (i top tool).
• Data and AI strategy:

1. Participant in the AI committee.
2. Design and execution of data and AI projects.
3. Technical advisory to units.

• New applications or improvements for units: Support to units in needs analysis and functional consultancy, testing market tools and analyzing options, technical advisory and support to the internal team regarding the technical part of tender specifications and the evaluation of offers, technical supervision of developments, support in testing.
• Management and leadership of digital projects for corporate improvement, according to the organization's needs at any given time.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

We are looking for a committed, proactive, innovative person who knows how to work in a team, is business-oriented, and provides a technical vision, in order to be able to make and execute the best technological decisions.

• Higher University degree, preferably in Engineering (telecommunications, computer science, or similar. Bologna Bachelor's or Double Bachelor's degree).
• Good level of Basque and English.
• Proven knowledge in the management and administration of Microsoft 365 Systems, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune will be very positively valued.

1. Microsoft Security Tool Suite (EASM, Security, Sentinel, …).
2. OS, (Windows and Linux).
3. Virtualization (HyperV).
4. Firewall and Networks (Fortinet and Aruba).
5. DB (Sql Server and MySQL). Cloud environments (Azure).
6. NAS (Synology).

• Minimum professional experience of 4-5 years as a systems manager of an organization.
