Scope of Work:

Project Description This person will be part of the DataGrid team supporting the BOB and Resiliency initiatives within Comcast, which is aimed at improving the stability of several key systems through a combination of tactical improvements, system consolidation and re-architecture for future scale and extensibility. Within this large initiative, the Java Architect/Developer will be responsible for enhancing the Data Grid platform which provides micro services built on open source, Cloud-based technologies and leverages an In-memory Data Grid Skills

• Java Architecture and Development - Senior level proficiency with:

• Java

• REST/SOAP web services

• Spring (Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Stream)

• Hazelcast/GemFire/Coherence (Hazelcast preferred)

• Hibernate/JPA

• Relational database development (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)

• NoSql (Couchbase/Cassandra/MongoDB)

• Maven

• Subversion

• GIT

• AWS

• Micro Services

A working knowledge of one or more of the following would be an advantage:

• WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, App Dynamics
