Analyzes and migrates data systems, using SQL and Azure services to improve database architecture and deliver transformation projects.
Salary: £59,280 - 70,560 per year
Requirements:- Demonstrable experience in Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, or database-focused roles.
- Strong SQL skills and confidence analysing data across diverse platforms.
- Solid understanding of data structures, modelling techniques, and database architecture.
- Experience delivering data migration, transformation, or application replacement projects.
- Knowledge of Azure data services and cloud-based database technologies.
- Exposure to document-oriented databases such as Azure Cosmos DB would be highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assess and interpret data ecosystems across multiple business-critical applications.
- Capture and maintain technical documentation to support future-state platform design.
- Define data migration requirements and establish mapping between legacy and target systems.
- Partner with delivery teams to identify data dependencies, risks, and integration requirements.
- Investigate legacy platforms to uncover undocumented functionality and data relationships.
