What you will do:
- Define system performance, reliability, and functional requirements across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Support end-to-end system lifecycle activities including concept development, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
- Develop system architectures and interface definitions to support interoperability across multiple platforms and environments.
- Perform system integration activities, ensuring seamless operation between hardware, software, and network components.
- Manage system configurations, baselines, and version control throughout development and deployment.
- Oversee and support system transitions into production environments, ensuring readiness and stability.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and verification to ensure requirements are met and performance standards achieved.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide post-deployment support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs, test plans, user guides, and configuration documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, software developers, network engineers, and cybersecurity personnel.
- Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and engineering decision-making processes.
- Analyze system performance metrics and recommend enhancements for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
What you will bring:
- 12+ years of experience supporting systems engineering activities in complex government or defense environments.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to capture and translate technical requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
- Experience working with hardware, software, and networked systems in integrated environments.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes, tools, and documentation standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Willingness to go the extra mile on behalf of customers, partners, and their missions.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, for documentation, collaboration, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline (experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret Clearance, with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
