Job Summary:

Sales & Application Support:

Responsible for providing technical support to the customer. Supporting Sales team by engaging customers to evaluate application possibilities, calculate and design vacuum systems by proposing suitable technical solutions. This also includes selecting suitable instruments and components to meet the customer’s requirements and specifications.

Handling sales inquiries and generating proposals relating to the sale of vacuum pumps & systems.

Support Sales team by engaging the customers on a day-to-day basis to follow up on quotations and technical clarification.

Act as the single point of contact for technical clarifications for customers, contractors and distributors.

Track and report quote activities; participate in Monthly Reporting process.

System Design & Execution:

Responsible for engineering, fabrication and performance of small and medium vacuum systems. This includes accountability for the cost of fabrication, supervising all fabrication work, the performance output and the end-to-end delivery to the customer.

Responsible for the coordination and performance of large systems

Supervise and provide necessary guidance to the system technician to execute system assembly involving piping, valves, instruments, skid frames, control panel and top testing and painting.

Be responsible for Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) in system production facility and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) at customer site.

Coordinate with factory, outside vendors and sub-contractors and create GA, P&ID etc. using 3D-SoftWorks. This is a mandatory requirement. Part of work can be supported by internal engineering teams.

Execute contract review prior to order entry to ensure clear order process - Evaluate and interpret customers' specification/quotation offer. Clarify with customers where necessary to resolve unclear requirements. Coordinate with Order Admin team on shipment update and information going back to the customer up to the point of delivery.

Training of customers in system operations as required.

The scope of territorial support includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
