Systems Engineer

System Engineer On-Premises Infrastructure

BlueBrix is a healthcare IT company. We build an EHR product and provide RCM services to US clients. We’re hiring a hands-on System Engineer to run our on-premises infrastructure and support our employees.

What you’ll do

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
• Manage virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backups and restore testing
• Apply patches and security updates, and maintain endpoint protection and access controls
• Troubleshoot server, network and application issues, and coordinate with vendors
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, M365/Outlook, password resets and MFA
• Maintain documentation, SOPs and asset records
• Provide after-hours support and planned maintenance when required

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years in system administration or infrastructure support
• Strong Windows Server and AD skills, with working knowledge of Linux
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls and DNS troubleshooting
• Experience with backup tools, monitoring tools and ticketing systems
• Good communication skills and patience with non-technical users
• Degree or diploma in CS/IT, or equivalent experience
• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, CompTIA Server+) and ITIL exposure are a plus
