Systems Engineer

Core Skills and knowledge

• Good understanding and working knowledge of IP CCTV systems, Access Control and Remote sensor systems

• Project Management experiences for both inhouse and client projects.

• Basic electrical wiring knowledge and able to understand single line diagrams

• Knowledge Linux, Windows OS Server– setup and operation

• Able to install and configure Ethernet based network equipment and systems (remote and local)

• Office IT Infrastructure: NAS systems, Office365 /Outlook administration, PC hardware skill

• Team player and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

• Good oral and written business communication in English

Roles and Responsibilities

• CCTV and IoT systems project implementation with onsite technical team and client.

• Attend site meetings with clients and provide project updates take inputs from client

• Coordinate with sub-contractors, vendors for purchase, delivery and installation of equipment.

• Lead a team of technical and general skilled staff to implement project on schedule.

• Configure and Support VA application, Robotics systems, Visitor Management and other security automation products at technical level

• To trouble-shoot CCTV and IP based network systems and work with 2ndlevel support.

• Work closely with Systems Manager and other department leaders to deploy technology and resolves issues.

• Create project schedules and track for successful completion

• Keep abreast of new /emerging Security automation technology and recommend, test new products.

• Able to work ad-hoc hours when supporting client projects and duty phone support

• Generate reports and analyse data for client projects using Excel, PowerPoint etc.
