Systems Engineer

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum work experience of 2–3 years in systems administration, technical support, engineering project support, or systems implementation.

• Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and communication systems.

• Familiarity with automation technologies, communication systems, networking infrastructure, and system integration is an advantage.

• Experience in conducting technical training and providing user support for implemented systems.

• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.

• Organized, efficient, flexible, and quality-focused.

• Takes initiative and works well independently and as part of a team.

• Has the confidence to take responsibility for assigned projects and technical objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning automation, communication, and IT systems.

2. Conduct technical assessments of client requirements to determine appropriate systems, equipment, and engineering solutions.

3. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and communication systems.

4. Perform preventive maintenance and assist in resolving technical issues affecting system functionality, reliability, and performance.

5. Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely project implementation and delivery.

6. Conduct client training and provide technical guidance on the proper use, operation, and maintenance of installed systems.

7. Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, including installation reports, project records, system configurations, and user manuals.

8. Monitor system performance and project implementation to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

9. Respond to client technical concerns, provide appropriate solutions, and coordinate escalations when necessary.

10. Assist in the integration, testing, and optimization of existing and newly implemented systems.

11. Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, technical processes, and overall operational efficiency.

12. Maintain accurate records of technical activities, maintenance schedules, project progress, and service delivery reports.

13. Ensure that all assigned technical activities comply with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable industry standards.
