About the role
We’re on the lookout for a highly motivated Systems Engineer whom specialises in Intune to join our Wellington based team. This role is all about making sure our client services are delivered seamlessly, consistently, and to the highest standard - while also keeping client relationships strong and thriving!
This role will be primarily working at the client site, with time also spent at office base in the Wellington CBD. Our specialist services team provides application and Operating System Management services to our external key corporate and government clients, along with maintaining our own internal requirements.

About the role
We’re on the lookout for a highly motivated Systems Engineer whom specialises in Intune to join our Wellington based team. This role is all about making sure our client services are delivered seamlessly, consistently, and to the highest standard - while also keeping client relationships strong and thriving!
This role will be primarily working at the client site, with time also spent at office base in the Wellington CBD. Our specialist services team provides application and Operating System Management services to our external key corporate and government clients, along with maintaining our own internal requirements.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting endpoint deployment and endpoint management technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM or similar platforms.
- Experience with SOE design, operating system deployment, application packaging, deployment and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing IT support, infrastructure or professional services role.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Relevant Microsoft or industry certifications are desirable, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver endpoint deployment, configuration and management services for customer and internal environments, ensuring devices are secure, compliant and aligned with agreed standards.
- Configure, manage and support endpoint management and deployment platforms, including operating system deployment, application deployment, device provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Design, maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Environments and device configurations across supported platforms.
- Package, configure, test and deploy applications, including quality assurance and user acceptance testing for application packages, operating system images and device builds.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for operating system, endpoint, application, device enrolment, security, compliance and encryption-related issues.
- Contribute to customer and internal projects by completing assigned tasks within agreed timeframes, quality standards and project governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of technical changes, configurations, deployment activities and supporting documentation.
- Provide technical consulting, implementation services, pre-sales advice and solution design input in collaboration with account and solution teams.
- Build positive customer relationships through professional communication, quality delivery and practical technical advice.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, standards, automation and service delivery practices.
