Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• To solve problems on Networks, Operating Systems, Storage, Security and Servers.
• You’ll work and learn with our engineers and technology principals to implement and support our core Product Technologies like Cisco, Symantec, Veritas, Netapp, Quantum, Unix technologies for network & security products.
• Installation, configuration, integration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for assigned projects and jobs
• Analyses, Modifies, and/or designs for solutions across mainframe, midrange, client
• Certified for new and existing vendor software; provides installation, maintenance and customization of vendor software as required
• Multi-task and effectively solve problems in a dynamic customer environment with minimal supervision.
• Individual must be open to traveling to clients sites nationwide when required.

Requirements:

• Basic programming background

• Professional Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Maths, Science and/or Engineering.
• Ability to analyze business and technical scenarios.
• Patiently and lovingly explain technical details to customers.
• Practices good documentation skills.

• Strong team player.
• Demonstrates self-motivation with strong sense of commitment, integrity and responsibility.
• Consistently applies engineering knowledge and skills to solve problems.

Your skills can include:

• Linux, Unix skills in RedHat, SUSE, Solaris, AIX, HPUX or related
• Cisco IOS
• BASH scripting
