Systems Engineer (Huawei Network)
About the role
Implementation, configuration, administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and its components. The role involves understanding IT infrastructure technologies and landscape including hardware, midrange, security, and network systems.
Key responsibilities
Implementation, configure, administer and maintain IT infrastructure and its components
Understand IT infrastructure technologies and landscape (hardware, midrange, security, network, etc.)
Perform incident, problem and escalation management for own area of responsibility
Provide technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance services
Introduce new technology and solutions to improve work process
Work with support team to resolve technical issues
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0-3 years of experience in System Engineering, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or related areas
Basic knowledge of Huawei Network products, including Switches, Routers, Wireless LAN (WLAN), Security, and Network Management solutions
Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLAN, VPN, WLAN, and Network Security concepts
Knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure and enterprise networking environments
Strong service-minded attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Good command of English, both written and spoken
