Systems Engineer I supporting a closed government system across multiple sites: administering and automating Linux servers, keeping them compliant with the Agency's STE/STN security requirements, and maintaining technical documentation. Core stack is Linux CLI, Bash/Python automation, Docker/Podman containers, and basic Cisco switching; requires TS/SCI with FS polygraph.
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team!
In this role, you will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations. The work centers on administering and automating Linux systems, keeping them aligned with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements, and maintaining clear technical documentation for the environment.

Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
- Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems
- Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks
- Experience with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies
- Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd
- Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation
Desired Skills + Experience
- Experience administering Windows systems
- Experience with NetApp storage devices
- Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
