Watchkeep is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working independently, and delivering infrastructure solutions that are accurate, well-planned, and built to last.
This is a senior technical role for someone who takes pride in their expertise and wants ownership of meaningful client projects from discovery through implementation, validation, documentation, and handoff.
What You'll Work On
You will be trusted to:
- Lead server migrations, Microsoft 365 rollouts, Azure deployments, network upgrades, and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Diagnose complex Level 2/3 technical issues and identify permanent, root-cause solutions.
- Assess client environments, uncover dependencies and technical risks, and develop sound implementation plans.
- Design and execute technical solutions using established standards and best practices.
- Work directly with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, firewalls, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Create accurate diagrams, implementation notes, configurations, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical expertise during project scoping and solution development.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards, automation, processes, and technical quality.
