NewBe an early applicantThe Maritime Division currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer supporting a DoD customer from Dallas Texas. This position provides a great opportunity to support end user requirements, be a part of a dynamic team and enhance your career abilities. The USN program office needs a self-motivated and energetic person to do technical planning, provide technical support during development and integration, test and verification and validation efforts. Providing Systems Engineer for requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, technical management, integration, and system testing. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with gov’t and other vendors.

Successful candidate will perform duties as a Systems Engineer to;
- Evaluates technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts
- Communicate with internal and with external partners
- Apply Systems Engineering principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain
- Provide technical support to evaluate documentation such as Statement of Work (SOW), Contracts Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) etc.
- Provide support in the evaluation of contract proposals for technical feasibility
- Provide technical support to the customer during integration and implementation efforts
- Provide engineering support to the customer during systems development, integration, testing activities.
- Provide engineering support for the assessment of technical, cost, and schedule performance against system and program requirements in functional engineering areas such as: RADAR, signal processing, software
- Provide technical analyses of the system developer’s formal and informal document such as design documentation, drawings, interface specifications, algorithms, software, and hardware for technical accuracy, and compliance with contractual requirements
- Provide technical support and participate, when required, in technical and programmatic meetings
- Assist in technical assessments on the system developer’s designs and products to ascertain design adequacy to include the likelihood of meeting system requirements and operational certification

Basics Qualifications:
- BS and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks to ensure contract execution
- Strong technical, verbal, and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications and experience:
- Experience in software Development
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple varied organizations from the government and defense industry
- Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Community operations experience
- Experience supporting Special Access programs
- Experience supporting an ACAT I-D program
- Experience operating in a multi-level protection environment
- Ability to utilize Jira

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
