Systems Engineer (Level 2)

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Level 2+ technician to become an important part of our service delivery team to serve our customers.

The Position

We are looking for a full-time permanent employee to help grow our technical team by providing Level 2 Technical Support to our customers. You will also be able to show your abilities while executing projects.

The requirements for the role are:

• A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of Windows OS including Windows 11 and Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.

• Be willing to work flexible hours for scheduled after hours work and emergency outages.

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Good written and verbal English skills

• Having a reliable vehicle and a current Australian Driver’s Licence.

The following items are specifically highly regarded:

• Having strong networking skills

• Good knowledge of SharePoint

• Some experience with or an interest in AI technologies (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, security-focused AI tools and automation)

• Some experience with Databases like MySQL and/or MSSQL

• A good understanding of the most important protocols like DNS, DNSSEC, SMTP, DHCP, NAT

• Having experience working with certificates, Internet Domain names and hosting.

• Understanding Security in the broad sense of the word.

The ideal candidate will also have a keen interest to learn more about:

• Proxmox and virtual servers.

• Windows server migrations and upgrades.

• Microsoft 365 Migrations.

• Sophos XG(S) Firewalls.

• Veeam and Shadow Protect Products.

• Exchange / Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
