Systems Engineer, Network & IoT Solutions
RightKey Partners is looking for Systems Engineers who can translate client requirements into complete, practical technical solutions.
This is a design-led engineering position, not a drafting-only role. You will take ownership of system architecture, topology, equipment selection and engineering documentation while supporting IoT, networking, network security, telecommunications and maritime technology projects.
Candidates with 1–2 years of strong relevant experience are welcome, alongside more experienced engineers. Multiple openings are available.
Location: Pandan Loop
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse client specifications and propose suitable technical solutions
• Design complete system architectures, network topologies and interfaces
• Develop new solutions from scratch or adapt proven designs where appropriate
• Select suitable equipment, components and technologies
• Prepare system diagrams, design sketches, technical specifications and engineering documentation
• Produce VDRL documentation and respond accurately to client comments
• Provide clear instructions to AutoCAD drafters for engineering drawing deliverables
• Guide technicians on equipment assembly and cabinet integration
• Configure, simulate, test and verify integrated systems
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Provide technical knowledge sharing and training to clients and commissioning engineers
• Work closely with project, sales, bidding and technical teams throughout project delivery
Relevant Technical Exposure
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be relevant:
• IoT and connected systems
• IP infrastructure and network architecture
• Switches, routers, firewalls and VLANs

• IP-PABX, PAGA, CCTV or VCS
• TETRA/DMR and UHF/VHF radio systems
• GMDSS and satellite communications
• IPTV, radar, gyrocompass or marine navigation systems
Candidates are not expected to possess experience across every technology listed. Strong networking fundamentals, independent design capability and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems are more important.
Requirements
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, telecommunications or a related technical discipline
• At least 1–2 years of relevant systems design, network engineering or systems integration experience
• Demonstrated ability to design solutions rather than only produce drawings or perform installations
• Strong technical documentation and time-management skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Resourceful, organised and comfortable working across multiple projects
• Experience with AutoCAD, CadnaA, Ekahau or iBwave would be advantageous
• Marine, defence, government infrastructure or industrial project experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Why Consider This Opportunity?
• Work across a broad portfolio of established and emerging technologies
• Gain exposure to complex network, IoT, security and maritime systems
• Design solutions from concept through testing and delivery
• Join an experienced team led by a highly technical Head of Engineering
• Broaden your technical capabilities across new markets and applications
