Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the following task:
Required Technologies/Tools
- All candidates will need to currently possess an Active TSSCI w/FS polygraph for consideration of this position. Required
- At this time our company Does Not offer clearance sponsorships for any of our positions.
- All candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
- Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing documentation related to System Security Plans, or Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with A&A processes.
- Demonstrated experience with development of System Security Plans.
- Demonstrated experience working with system architecture, including hands-on setup, configuration, and optimization of systems.
Desired Technologies/Tools
- Demonstrated experience developing using REST Web services
- Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Red Hat, CentOS, or Rocky
- Demonstrated experience with web application development
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, or integrating IA and security systems and system components (such as those for networking, virtualization, cloud, and enclave environments to include those with with differing data protection requirements).
- Demonstrated experience using Java and Oracle PL/SQL languages
- Demonstrated experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with the A&A processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with the agency’s system architecture, including hands-on setup, configuration, and optimization of the system.
Active Relevant Certifications
- Cloud certification(s)
Other Relevant Technologies/Tools
- Experience working closely with other teams, including network engineers, data scientists, and government personnel.
- Experience working with the agency for the execution of tasks, implementation, documentation, and configuration of a standalone HPC system.
- Experience working with the government agency to maintain A&A accreditation compliance.
- Experience working together with the government agency to create visualization specifications for system monitoring and system metrics.
- Experience creating, documenting, and updating necessary artifacts such as the Configuration Management Plan, Data Management Plan, and CONOPS.
- Experience advising and assisting the agency with development of System Security Plans.
- Experience monitoring, tracking, and updating status of systems in RMF tool.
- Experience coordinating technical security assessments of computing environments and systems to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Experience partnering with relevant technical and security POCs to maintain the HPC system with current ATO (Authority to Operate) status.
